An Oshkosh music event is bringing in some big names and recognition to Wisconsin this Saturday. The Oshkosh Jazz Festival is already being described as one of the premier festivals around, and it’s only three years old!
“To get to see Oshkosh, my hometown, embracing and enjoying this festival means so much,” President and Organizer Erin Boehme says. ” It’s terrific and I really mean it.”
Boehme has lived in some terrific live music cities like Los Angeles and Nashville. But is proud to be part of what is being built here.
“This festival is also completely free and family friendly,” Boehme says.
And the names of those taking over the stage on North Main Street downtown are impressive: Torme Sings Torme, Take 6, the most-awarded a cappella group in history, and many more.
There may be other events or businesses like EAA and Oshkosh B’Gosh that are better known, but don’t discount Oshkosh Jazz Fest.
If could bring some deserving music fame to the area in the very near future.
