SUV of “Veteran at Risk” found in Lake Michigan

MANITOWOC, WI—(WISS & WGBW)—Manitowoc police issue a Green Alert for a missing veteran believed to be at risk after his vehicle was found in Lake Michigan. 

43-year-old Jason R. Neumann was reported missing on Tuesday. The Manitowoc County Sheriff’s office found his 2019 blue Toyota 4Runner SUV in the shallow water of Lake Michigan near the Town of Cleveland. The vehicle was in drive. Authorities, who called Neumann a “veteran at risk,” checked his residence, but he was not there. Police believe he went missing on Monday, November 18th. 

Neuman is 5’8” tall, weighs 220 pounds, has blondish hair, blue eyes and an Army Airborne symbol tattooed on an upper arm.
