Budget listening sessions scheduled in Menasha and Oshkosh

OSHKOSH, WI—(WISS)— Two budget listening sessions are scheduled in the Fox Valley featuring Senator Kristin Dassler-Alfheim (D-Appleton). The first is tonight in Neenah with Republican Representative Dean Kaufert. The second is Monday evening in Oshkosh with Representative Lori Palmeri (D-Oshkosh).

The listening sessions will help citizens better understand the budget process and will allow lawmakers to share details from Governor Tony Evers’ budget proposal.

“These sessions are opportunities for community members to share their voices, ask questions, and engage in an open dialogue with their elected representatives and Neighbors,” a press release from Rep. Palmeri’s office said. 

The listening session in Menasha is tonight, May 1, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Elisha D. Smith Public Library. 

The listening session in Oshkosh is Monday, May 5th, from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. a the Oshkosh Public Library.
