OSHKOSH, Wis (CIVIC MEDIA) – Over 600 Wisconsin National Guard soldiers will participate in a sendoff ceremony Saturday as they prepare for deployment.
According to a Wisconsin Department of Military Affairs news release, soldiers of the 2nd Battalion, 127th Infantry Regiment and Gulf Company, and the 132nd Brigade Support will be formally recognized by friends, family, and National Guard senior leadership.
They will mobilize to active duty before engaging in pre-mobilization training. The soldiers will deploy to the U.S. Central Command area of operations after.
