MILWAUKEE, Wis. (Civic Media) – Two iconic Milwaukee brands are reuniting after a six-year break. Milwaukee World Festival, producer of Summerfest, and Harley-Davidson announced a new multi-year partnership Tuesday.
The deal names Harley-Davidson the “Official Motorcycle of Summerfest” and makes the company the presenting sponsor of the festival’s July 4th celebration marking America’s 250th anniversary. The event will cap Summerfest with a 20-minute fireworks display over the lakefront, plus special admission deals and a gate giveaway for the first 5,000 fans.
Harley took over the former Pabst Showcase stage in 1997. That relationship ended in November 2020 amid Harley’s business restructuring and pandemic-related changes at Summerfest. Generac then took over the stage with upgrades including new video screens.
“We are thrilled to welcome Harley-Davidson as a Summerfest sponsor, continuing a Milwaukee tradition,” said Sarah Pancheri, president and CEO of Milwaukee World Festival. “This partnership is especially meaningful, as it brings two iconic Milwaukee brands back together.”
Harley CEO Artie Starrs called Milwaukee “our home and always will be.” He said the company looks forward to celebrating America’s 250th “with our riders, dealers and fans right here in our hometown.”
The agreement also includes Harley-sponsored motorcycle parking, perks for Harley Owners Group members, onsite exhibit space and an annual promotion day.
Summerfest 2026 is scheduled across three weekends: June 18–20, June 25–27, and July 2–4.
