Coloma Business Destroyed by Fire

WAUTOMA, Wis (WAUH)- Fire destroyed The Cabin Bar & Grill at 221 North Front Street in Coloma Monday.

Coloma Fire Department Chief Nate Sigourney says they were dispatched to the business just before noon for the smell of something burning.

When fire crews arrived smoke was showing from the rear of the building. Fire conditions intensified quickly with heavy fire found in the attic area.

Eight other fire departments provided mutual aid. Sigourney says strong gusty winds and building construction hampered efforts to control the fire. The building was a total loss. There were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
