Whether it’s making someone smile, helping a neighbor or stranger out, showing up for an issue or people we care about, or giving some of what we have to those who need our help, every act of generosity counts, and everyone has something to give. WISS and our parent company Civic Media believe this day is special, impactful, and deeply important.

The Oshkosh Area Community Pantry believes in the vision of a community where no one goes hungry. Originally an effort of local Oshkosh churches, the organization officially formed in 2008 to meet the growing issue of food insecurity in Oshkosh. While addressing the nutritional needs of guests, they keep a high level of respect, dignity, adaptability and responsibility in mind. You can make food donations, shop their Amazon wishlist or make a monetary donation to support their mission.
Over 7 million Americans are living with Alzheimer’s and nearly 12 million Americans provide unpaid care for their loved ones. Many members of our WMDX team know what it’s like to care for someone who gets that life-changing diagnosis. The Alzheimer’s Association is painting a different picture. They’re dedicated to finding the cure, advocating for those with demensia, advancing critical research and working toward prevention methods along the way. The WISS team has participated in the annual Alzheimers walk as a team for many years and proudly supports their important mission.
